Ear Pinna Deformity
A range of problems can arise as a result of abnormal ear anatomy development or abnormalities, ranging from cosmetic concerns to hearing and developmental issues. Approximately 6 to 45 percent of all children have congenital ear abnormalities. Some ear abnormalities only last a few weeks or months. The deformity may fade away as the kid grows and the ear relaxes into a more natural shape if it was caused by uneven positioning in the uterus or during delivery. Other ear abnormalities would require medical intervention, either nonsurgical or surgical. Because it’s hard to know which ear abnormalities will improve on their own and which will not, it’s critical to discuss treatment options as soon as possible.
